Crusoe, known as “the AI factory company,” has raised $1.375 billion in a Series E round, valuing the company at over $10 billion. The round was co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Mubadala Capital, with participation from major investors including Fidelity, Founders Fund, NVIDIA, Salesforce Ventures, T. Rowe Price, and Tiger Global. Funds managed by Blue Owl are expected to join in a later closing.
This funding highlights strong investor confidence in Crusoe’s mission to build the infrastructure powering the next generation of artificial intelligence.
Transforming AI Infrastructure
Crusoe has become a global leader through its vertically integrated model that spans:
- Rapid energy sourcing
- AI-optimized data center design and construction
- High-performance cloud computing via its Crusoe Cloud platform
This integrated model allows Crusoe to deploy gigawatt-scale AI data centers faster and more affordably than traditional providers. The first phase of its 1.2-gigawatt campus in Abilene, Texas, went live just one year after construction began.
Crusoe Cloud: Building AI Faster
Crusoe Cloud empowers innovators to focus on creating AI solutions rather than managing complex infrastructure.
- Offers 99.98% uptime and enterprise-grade support
- Trusted by AI pioneers including Cursor, Fireworks, and Together AI
- Enhanced performance following its acquisition of Atero, improving GPU management and memory optimization
Through Crusoe Cloud, customers gain reliable, scalable access to computing power essential for advanced AI applications.
A Year of Record Growth
Crusoe’s vertically integrated strategy delivered strong growth across its operations:
- Energy Expansion: Power pipeline grew more than fourfold to 45 gigawatts, supported by partnerships with Tallgrass, Redwood Materials, and Lancium.
- Cloud Momentum: Bookings increased fivefold in 2025, with collaborations from NVIDIA and AMD, earning a “Gold” rating from Semianalysis.
- Infrastructure Scaling: Beyond Abilene, Crusoe is developing multiple gigawatt-scale campuses, including a 1.8-gigawatt project in Wyoming.
- Strategic Focus: The company fully exited its Bitcoin mining business to focus on AI infrastructure.
- Global Reach: Expanded cloud capacity in Norway and Iceland, with new offices in Dublin, Sunnyvale, and Tel Aviv.
Driving AI’s Next Chapter
Crusoe’s CEO and co-founder, Chase Lochmiller, emphasized that the world is entering an era of AI-driven abundance. Yet, the pace of innovation is limited by constraints in energy and compute. Crusoe’s mission is to “activate energy for intelligence,” enabling builders to scale faster and smarter.
The new funding will accelerate the rollout of its AI factories — uniting energy, data centers, and high-performance software into a single platform to efficiently produce intelligence at scale.
Something about Crusoe
Crusoe’s mission is to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. Through clean energy, optimized data centers, and a powerful AI cloud, it offers a scalable, sustainable path to AI innovation.
