A bold new step toward building Europe’s AI future has been announced! MGX, the UAE-based investment fund focused on artificial intelligence and advanced tech, has partnered with Bpifrance, Mistral AI, and NVIDIA to launch Europe’s largest AI Campus in the Paris region.
The announcement was made during the Choose France Summit at Versailles and builds on growing collaboration between the UAE and France, following the AI Action Summit held earlier this year.
A Game-Changing Vision for European AI
The AI Campus will be a purpose-built, high-capacity tech hub designed to power the entire AI lifecycle, from model training and inference to real-world deployment of generative and applied AI.
Key Highlights of the AI Campus:
- ✅ 1.4 GW capacity of AI computing infrastructure
- ✅ Exascale-class performance for high-speed computing
- ✅ Sovereign cloud systems and low-carbon hyperscale data centers
- ✅ Focus on key industries: healthcare, energy, mobility, finance, and manufacturing
- ✅ Deep integration with France’s research and innovation ecosystem
The project will enable open access to advanced AI infrastructure, serving startups, academia, corporates, and public institutions across Europe. Construction phase will begin in late 2026, with full operations expected by 2028.
