Fueling Legal Innovation in Africa
Tunisia-based legal-tech startup Juridoc.tn has raised an undisclosed investment round from Go Big Partners and 216 Capital Ventures. This will help it to accelerate its expansion into West and Central Africa. This move aims to revolutionize legal services through AI-powered automation, making legal documentation more accessible and efficient.
Strategic Investment for Growth
The funding will enable Juridoc.tn to establish a strong presence in the OHADA region. This region includes 17 African countries, such as Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, and Gabon. These markets hold significant potential for digitized legal solutions, helping businesses and individuals streamline their legal processes.
Go Big Partners and 216 Capital Ventures are both beneficiaries of the ANAVA fund, a €100 million initiative managed by Smart Capital to support Tunisia’s startup ecosystem. In July 2024, the ANAVA fund invested €4.5 million into Go Big Partners’ GO LIVE Fund, an €8 million fund that focuses on early-stage B2B startups in key industries like AgriTech, BioTech, CleanTech, and Cybersecurity.
Juridoc’s Mission – Making Legal Services Smarter
Founded in 2019 by Assali Kais, Maya Boureghda Chebeane, and Anis Wahabi, Juridoc.tn is committed to modernizing the legal industry with its AI-driven automated legal documentation services. By entering the OHADA region, the company hopes to:
- ✔ Improve legal accessibility for businesses and individuals

Go Big Partners expressed excitement about this collaboration, stating, “We are proud to join forces with 216 Capital Ventures to support Tunisia’s pioneering legal-tech startup as it expands across Africa, starting with the OHADA region.”
The Future of Legal-Tech in Africa
With this investment, Juridoc.tn is set to reshape Africa’s legal landscape, making high-quality legal services more efficient, accessible, and affordable.
