Darwinz AI, a rising SaudiEgyptian startup, has raised $325,000 in its first-ever institutional seed round. The investment comes from two regional powerhouses: Flat6Labs KSA and Glint Ventures. The funding will support the company’s ongoing expansion in the GCC and lay the groundwork for global scaling in the near future.

What does Darwinz AI do?

Founded in 2021 by Emad Elazhary and Mohy Aboualam, Darwinz AI offers an Arabic-first AI copilot named Dima. It specifically caters to marketing and PR professionals, aiming to boost productivity by up to 80%.

  • ✅ Tracks brand sentiment in real time
  • ✅ Detects PR crises before they escalate
  • ✅ Analyzes media coverage across platforms
  • ✅ Optimized for Arabic-first content and markets

Since its full launch in late 2024, Dima is already in use by over 300 professionals across six MENA countries, with clients in sectors like telecom, real estate, banking, F&B, aviation, and the public sector.

Where’s the New Capital Going?

The new funds will power Darwinz AI’s expansion across the GCC, starting with operations out of The Garage in Riyadh. But the startup’s ambitions reach far beyond the region.

  • ✅ Expand presence in the Gulf
  • ✅ Prepare for global rollout in 2026
  • ✅ Enhance the Dima platform using user feedback
  • ✅ Refine features to meet global standards for AI copilots

Co-founder Mohy Aboualam emphasized that the focus remains solely on improving Dima, rather than launching additional products. The goal is to make it the world’s best solution for the specific use cases it addresses.

“We’re not adding more products—we’re refining Dima until it’s the optimal copilot globally,” Aboualam shared.

Strategic Backing, Not Just Capital

More than money, Darwinz AI sees strong strategic value in its new investors. Both Flat6Labs KSA and Glint Ventures bring deep expertise in scaling startups in the region.

  • ✅ Mentorship and advisory support
  • ✅ Access to regional networks
  • ✅ Experience in scaling tech startups

These partnerships will definitely help to accelerate Darwinz’s operational maturity and market reach in the short term.

What’s Next for Darwinz AI?

Looking ahead, the team is focused on executing its current business plan and continuing its product refinement. A second funding round is being planned for the second half of 2026, aimed at driving international expansion.

“In 18 months, we want clients in countries we’ve never visited to discover and subscribe to Dima online,” said Aboualam.
