Backed by AMD, Magnetar, and Aramco’s Prosperity7

TensorWave, a U.S.-based startup building high-performance infrastructure for artificial intelligence, just secured a massive $100 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Magnetar and AMD Ventures, with additional participation from Prosperity7 (Aramco’s investment arm), Maverick Silicon, and Nexus Venture Partners.

This funding will accelerate TensorWave’s mission to bring cutting-edge AI computing power to a broader audience, right when the demand for it is skyrocketing.

What Does TensorWave Do?

TensorWave is at the forefront of solving one of AI’s biggest challenges: the shortage of advanced computing infrastructure. With AI models growing more complex by the day, companies are desperate for scalable, high-speed processing power.

Here’s where TensorWave steps in. The company builds AI infrastructure powered by AMD’s latest chips and advanced liquid cooling systems. In effect, it is offering energy-efficient and high-performance alternatives to traditional AI hardware setups.

And now, with this new funding, they’re planning to launch the world’s largest AMD-powered AI infrastructure, using a staggering 8,192 Instinct MI325X GPUs!

What Will the $100M Be Used For?

This investment is not just about scaling, it’s about speed, access, and impact. According to CEO Darrick Horton, TensorWave plans to use the funding to:

  • ✅ Launch its liquid-cooled GPU cluster faster
  • ✅ Expand its team and hire top talent
  • ✅ Scale operations and infrastructure
  • ✅ Make AI computing tools more accessible to startups, enterprises, and researchers alike

“This round helps us accelerate our vision of democratizing AI computing and giving more people access to the infrastructure they need,” said Horton.

Why now?

This funding couldn’t have come at a better time. The AI infrastructure market is exploding, with projections estimating its value to reach $400 billion by 2027. As demand for large-scale AI models and real-time data processing grows, so does the need for infrastructure that can keep up.

Right now, supply isn’t meeting demand, making companies like TensorWave crucial players in the global AI race.

Strategic Backing from Global Giants

TensorWave isn’t doing this alone. Backing from heavyweights like:

  • AMD Ventures – strategic chipmaker powering TensorWave’s infrastructure
  • Magnetar Capital – financial muscle with deep tech investment experience
  • Prosperity7 Ventures – the growth fund of Saudi Aramco, bringing international reach and scale

…shows that TensorWave has both the tech and capital support to become a serious force in AI.

What’s Next?

With strong investor backing and world-class technology, TensorWave is on track to become one of the go-to platforms for AI infrastructure globally. As AI continues to disrupt industries, from healthcare to finance to energy, TensorWave’s role in enabling that future is only getting bigger.
