In a significant move to empower Punjab’s youth, the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) has joined forces with Hazza Institute of Technology (HAZZA) and Japan-Pakistan Innovative Institute (JPII). This strategic partnership aims to establish state-of-the-art Japanese Language and Cultural Training Centers across Punjab. Consequently the program will provide young individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the Japanese job market.

This initiative, spearheaded by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and facilitated by Adnan Afzal Chattha, Chairman of the Chief Minister’s Task Force for Skill Development, aligns perfectly with the government’s vision of empowering Punjab’s youth. The program will equip them with internationally recognized skills. Additionally, it will provide pathways to employment in high-demand sectors like information technology, logistics, elderly care, hospitality, and agriculture. Above all, the partnership aims to create a globally competitive workforce.

- Establishing Training Centers: Six state-of-the-art training centers will be established across Punjab, providing comprehensive training in Japanese language, culture, and professional etiquette.
- Empowering 2,000 Youth: The program aims to train 2,000 young individuals, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the Japanese job market.
- Guaranteed Job Placements: In collaboration with JPII, the program will facilitate guaranteed job placements for trained individuals in Japan, opening doors to exciting career opportunities.
